The trailer for the soon-to-be-released music documentary “Let There Be Drums!” features Taylor Hawkins, the late Foo Fighters drummer who died in March at the age of 50. The interview for the doc was Hawkins’ final on-camera interview before he died, and he used it to pay tribute to the art of drumming.
“The second I sat on the drums, it was like a bolt of lightning went through my body,” Hawkins says in the film, talking about the first time he ever sat down at a drum kit. “I’ll never forget that day.” “Let There Be Drums!”, featuring interviews with iconic percussionists including Ringo Starr, Stewart Copeland, and Chad Smith, is set to premiere on October 28th on Apple TV+, Amazon Prime Video, and in select theaters.
