Tom Morello is back with another star-studded project. He’s announced a new album, “The Atlas Underground Flood.”

The record serves as a sister piece to the Rage Against The Machine guitarist’s previous solo album “The Atlas Underground Fire.” Once again, he’s teaming up with a bunch of big names in rock, like Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, Rush’s Alex Lifeson, My Morning Jacket’s Jim James, Nathaniel Rateliff, Ben Harper, and more.

  • “Admiring The Clash at their apex moment, I sought to make a double album where artistic intent supersedes genre,” Tom says in a statement. “I aimed to forge a central curated vision to tie together a sonically fearless, wild, and wide-ranging musical ambition with a tremendous cast of collaborators. And of course, there are many guitar solos.”

“The Atlas Underground Flood” drops on December 3rd and can be pre-ordered HERE. We’re getting a preview with the song “Human” featuring Barns Courtney.
