Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin are back at it again with “The Hanukkah Sessions.” The Foo Fighters frontman and producer duo have teamed back up to rock for eight crazy nights, serving up a different cover song each day of the Jewish holiday.
First up? A unique take on “Stay (I Missed You)” by Lisa Loeb. The music video opens up to a menorah before panning to Greg asleep on the couch and Dave standing beside him in a floral dress. Dave starts off singing the 1994 hit sweetly, until things take a dramatic, heavy metal turn.
Night two saw the duo take on a rock classic, “Blitzkrieg Bop” by The Ramones. And for night three, they brought the glitz, groove and dance moves for “Copacabana” by Barry Manilow.
